Katadyn Replacement pre-filter disc

Ceramic replacement pre-filter disc for the Katadyn Vario filter. When filtering, a ceramic pre-filter is activated, which extends the lifespan of the fiberglass filter when dealing with dirty water. The water passes through three filtration stages: The activated carbon reduces unpleasant odors and minimizes chemical use, the ceramic pre-filter removes particles and suspended solids, and the fiberglass filter retains bacteria and protozoa.
