The CGX-SL model is an outer casing made of hardened steel with a Slick-Lube liner. Slick-Lube is a lubricant that is integrated throughout the entire length of the outer casing into the liner, significantly reducing the friction of the inner cable. The result is an outer casing with extremely low compression.
