Product details

Ion has your back. If you don't feel like wearing a backpack with a back protector, you often end up in one of those stuffy pads that remind you more of armor. Ion's solution: the Protection LS Scrub Amp. The integrated, lightweight Sas-Tec back protector absorbs minor impacts (EN 1621-2, Level 1) and can be easily removed for cleaning. Ion has extended the protection down to the lower back with HD Memory Foam to also shield you from items stored in the two pockets. Thanks to the overlapping arrangement of the protective plates, you have just as much freedom of movement as you would without a vest. The protective jacket is particularly comfortable around the neck and front, as the Safelock zipper is placed on the side under the arm.
