The Iomi flight and travel socks are designed to help reduce the risk of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) during flights and other forms of extended travel. The graduated compression designed into the socks helps to maintain regular blood flow to support the legs and the rest of the body. These flight socks also help to alleviate poor circulation, tired, aching legs and swollen feet and ankles when travelling. With a compression factor of 18mmHg, these socks have been laboratory tested in the UK and confirmed as a Class 1 medical device complying with British Standard BS6612: 1985. IOMI flight socks are available in three sizes and in two colours, including beige and black. They are made from 88% nylon and 12% elastane. The socks are machine washable and are made in the UK.
