Hutchinson Python 2

The Hutchinson Python 2 folding tire is an evolution of the legendary Python, which has been a multiple XC World Cup winner, including with Julien Absalon. The Python 2 is also designed for cross-country use on hard to slightly loose terrain. This new version, here in 26 x 2.10, combines relatively low, three-part side lugs for optimal cornering grip with a continuous line of center lugs that allow for maximum speed on hard surfaces while ensuring consistent ground contact. Between these, "pistol lugs" are arranged for powerful braking. The new three-component rubber compound RaceRipost XC ensures that this model excels in terms of mileage and durability. In the tubeless-ready version offered here, the Python 2 from Hutchinson can be used with or without a tube. It is ideal as a rear tire in combination with a Cobra or Cougar at the front.
