Our abmat is a simple but highly effective aid for core training. It is traditionally used for sit-ups, but other applications are also possible. The name comes from the English and literally means a mat for the abdominal muscles.

The Abmat is made of foam and is flat on the underside with a base area of 38 x 30 cm. The upper side is curved so that the lower part is slightly higher than the upper part, with a maximum height of 5 cm.

Many people may be familiar with this shape from lumbar cushions, which are used to support the spine. However, the material of the Abmats is harder in order to provide optimum support for the lumbar spine when lying down.
Who is an Abmat suitable for?
