The sturdy compass features a plastic housing in a traditional military design, a swinging luminous dial, an adjustable magnifying cover glass, a sighting line made of brass wire on the lid, a classic snap closure, and an adjustable marching line. The compass is oil-damped and has a degree scale of 5°.
