Herkelmann Wingee

The Wingee by Bernd Herkelmann is an innovative combination of a mudguard and a luggage rack. The base is a sturdy mudguard made from an aluminum hollow chamber profile, similar to a bicycle rim, which provides high stability while also serving load-bearing functions. Side-mounted luggage struts can easily accommodate side bags and their low position ensures an optimal center of gravity. This significantly improves riding stability and safety. The high sidewalls of the Wingee offer enhanced splash protection by effectively catching side splashes. As a result, the width of the mudguard can be reduced while the tire width can be designed to nearly match the width of the Wingees. Visually, the Wingee impresses with a clean and tidy design. A stable support strut on each side replaces the usual mudguard and luggage rack struts.
