Product details

The Chainglider Open has a similar design to the closed Chainglider, is self-supporting, and is mounted on floating bearings. Fastening parts are no longer necessary. Its advantage is that it operates quietly and requires no tools for installation. The open design also allows bicycles with derailleur gears to be equipped. The Open is ideal for replacing a defective chain guard on older bicycles. Often, suitable models and appropriate fastenings for these are no longer available.

Suitable for:

  • Bikes with a single chainring with 38 teeth
  • Bikes with a chain tensioner (e.g., Rohloff)
  • Bikes with hub gears or combined hub/derailleur gears (e.g., SRAM Dual Drive, Shimano INTEGO)

Note: Max. chainring thickness 3.0 mm, max. chain width 9.0 mm. Not suitable for chains with a quick link.
