Hanwag Friction II GTX

The Friction II GTX is an insulated mountaineering boot designed for versatile glacier and rock tours as well as alpine trekking. It features Click Clamps for a two-zone lacing system, allowing for different tightness in the upper and lower parts of the shaft. The Ghilly lacing in the lower part of the shaft ensures smooth lacing. The boot is constructed with a welted design, making it resolable. It has a durable, waterproof, and breathable GORE-TEX lining, as well as a heel attachment for semi-automatic crampons. The low peak design allows for continuous use with crampons and includes a raised rubber gravel guard. The specialized climbing last and Vibram sole are optimized for performance with crampons. Additionally, the memory foam insole provides better shape retention and always returns to its original form. The boot also features a soft and elastic textile closure.
