Hanwag Friction II GTX

The Friction II GTX is a cold-insulated mountain boot designed for versatile glacier and rock tours as well as alpine trekking. It features Click Clamps for two-zone lacing, allowing the upper and lower parts of the shaft to be laced with different tightness. The ghilly lacing in the lower part of the shaft ensures smooth lacing. The boot is constructed with a gezwickte design, making it resoleable. It has a durable, waterproof, and breathable GORE-TEX lining, along with a crampon overlay on the heel for semi-automatic crampons. The low peak burst design allows for continuous use with crampons, and it includes a firmly raised scree protection edge made of rubber. The special climbing last and Vibram sole are optimized for performance with crampons. Additionally, the memory plastic insole provides better shape retention, always returning to its original shape. The boot also features a soft and elastic finish in textile fabric.
