Hanwag Friction II GTX

The Friction II GTX is an insulated mountain boot designed for versatile glacier and rock tours as well as alpine trekking. It features Click Clamps for a two-zone lacing system, allowing for different tightness in the upper and lower parts of the shaft. The ghillie lacing in the lower part of the shaft ensures smooth lacing. The boot has a durable, waterproof, and breathable GORE-TEX lining, along with a heel attachment for semi-automatic crampons. It includes a low toe stiffening for continuous use with crampons and a firmly raised rubber toe cap for added protection. The special climbing strip and Vibram sole are designed for use with crampons while maintaining low toe stiffening. Additionally, the memory foam insole provides better shape retention, as it always returns to its original form, while the soft and elastic textile collar offers extra comfort. The flexing edge enhances flexibility.
