The Friction II GTX is a cold-insulated mountain boot designed for versatile glacier and rock tours, as well as alpine trekking. It features Click Clamps for two-zone lacing, allowing the upper and lower parts of the shaft to be laced with different tightness. The ghilly lacing in the lower part of the shaft ensures smooth lacing. The boot has a durable, waterproof, and breathable GORE-TEX lining, along with crampon support at the heel for semi-automatic crampons. It includes a low peak burst for continuous use with crampons and a firmly raised scree protection edge made of rubber. The special climbing strip and Vibram sole are designed for low peak burst use with crampons. Additionally, the memory plastic insole provides better shape retention, always returning to its original shape, while the soft and elastic finish in textile fabric adds comfort. The bending gusset enhances flexibility.
