Hanwag Friction II GTX

The Friction II GTX is a cold-insulated mountaineering boot designed for versatile glacier and rock tours as well as alpine trekking. It features Click Clamps for a two-zone lacing system, allowing for different tension settings on the upper and lower parts of the shaft. The ghillie lacing in the lower part of the shaft ensures smooth tightening. The boot is constructed to be resoled. It has a durable, waterproof, and breathable GORE-TEX lining, along with a heel attachment for semi-automatic crampons. The low-profile toe design allows for continuous use with crampons. Additionally, it features a firmly raised rubber gravel guard and a specialized climbing last. The Vibram sole is designed for continuous use with crampons, and the memory foam insole provides better shape retention by returning to its original form repeatedly. The boot has a soft and elastic finish made of textile material.
