Hanwag Friction II GTX

The Friction II GTX is a cold-insulated mountain boot designed for versatile glacier and rock tours as well as alpine trekking. It features Click Clamps for two-zone lacing, allowing the upper and lower parts of the shaft to be laced with different tightness. The ghilly lacing in the lower part of the shaft ensures smooth lacing. The boot is constructed with a durable, waterproof, and breathable GORE-TEX lining, and includes a crampon overlay on the heel for semi-automatic crampons. It has a low peak burst for continuous use with crampons and a firmly raised scree protection edge made of rubber. The special climbing last and Vibram sole provide low peak burst for ongoing use with crampons. Additionally, the memory plastic insole offers better shape retention, always returning to its original shape, while the soft and elastic finish in textile fabric enhances comfort.
