Hanwag Blueridge Low ES

Modern, lightweight, and multifunctional - the Blueridge Low ES is a versatile lightweight hiking shoe equipped with numerous sustainable and innovative features. This includes not only the durable Perwanger upper leather and the 100% recycled upper material but also the completely PFC-free membrane. Waterproof, breathable, and sustainable – this PU membrane developed by HANWAG is based on a complex, hydrophilic system that achieves waterproofing and breathability while completely avoiding the use of fluorocarbons. The entire construct is used as a stable 3-layer laminate. The materials used are sourced exclusively from European suppliers, and the shoe is manufactured entirely in Europe. However, durability and sustainability do not come at the expense of function and comfort! The Blueridge Low ES proves this with a perfect fit and a newly developed midsole: an elevated sole edge made of stabilizing PU provides additional support around the foot and at the heel. With the slip-resistant Terragrip outsole featuring a 4 mm tread depth and large lugs with a wide contact area, the foot rolls off easily and harmoniously. The modernly designed Blueridge Low ES feels comfortable on various hiking trails – from the autumnal low mountain ranges to sandy coastal paths.
