The Geopress replacement water filters are designed for a life of 350 cycles (250 l). Life is reduced when cleaning water with high levels of silt, sediment or tannins. The cartridge press time increases towards the end of the cartridge life. When the press time reaches 25-30 seconds, the cartridge should be replaced. Even if the press time increases, the cartridge will continue to protect. It is then recommended to replace the cartridge at some point, despite any environmental concerns.
