Giro Tremor MIPS

Equipped with some of the great technologies from Giro's adult line, such as the In-Mold construction for reduced weight and improved durability, as well as the popular Roc Loc Sport adjustment system for quick and secure helmet fitting, the Tremor is ready for action at any time. The Tremor MIPS models also feature an integrated safety system, the Multi-Directional Impact Protection System (MIPS), which can redirect energy and enhance protection at certain impact angles, providing young riders with state-of-the-art head protection.

In-Mold polycarbonate shell with EPS liner: In the In-Mold construction, a strong outer shell made of polycarbonate is fused with the impact-absorbing foam padding of the helmet. This fusion process allows for better ventilation systems, making In-Mold helmets lighter and cooler than traditional helmets.

MIPS technology: The MIPS Multi-Directional Impact Protection System consists of three main components: the EPS liner, the Low Friction liner, and an elastomeric attachment system between them. When subjected to rotational forces, the elastomers allow the EPS shell to move independently around the head. Helmets equipped with MIPS can offer increased protection in certain situations.
