Giro Switchblade MIPS

The Switchblade MIPS is our new ASTM-certified downhill full-face helmet with a removable chin bar. The Switchblade is fully optimized for downhill riding and is certified to CPSC, EN-1078, and ASTM-1952-DH standards – both with and without the chin bar. The chin bar is super easy to remove and just as easy to reattach. To remove it, simply press the buttons under the chin bar, lift the bar upwards, and take it off.

The Switchblade MIPS features the new Roc Loc Air DH fit system, which is characterized by a cushioning layer around the adjustment dial. This prevents the helmet from accidentally adjusting when it comes into contact with a backpack or neck protector, for example. Additionally, the helmet keeps your head cool. Without the chin bar, the Wind Tunnel cheek pad ventilation provides extra cooling.
