Giro Compound

Giro has developed the Compound for riders who need an extra-large size without sacrificing the proven Giro fit. Inspired by confident mountain style and the airy ventilation of the Fixture helmet, the Compound features many of the best attributes, such as In-Mold construction combined with the lightness and comfort of the popular Roc Loc Sport adjustment system.

In-Mold polycarbonate shell with EPS liner: In In-Mold construction, a strong outer shell made of polycarbonate is fused with the impact-absorbing foam padding of the helmet. This fusion process allows for better ventilation systems, making In-Mold helmets lighter and cooler than traditional helmets.

Roc Loc Sport adjustment system: The Roc Loc Sport Fit System offers easy one-handed operation with an adjustment range of 7 cm. Its good tactile feedback and sound let riders know that the helmet provides a comfortable fit. With comfort similar to the Roc Loc 5 and ponytail compatibility, the new Roc Loc Sport Fit System brings premium features to the level of sport helmets.
