Giro Coalition Spherical MIPS Helmet

An impressively lightweight full-face helmet that still offers substantial protection. Weighing in at just 800 grams, the Coalition provides the safety of Spherical Technology™, powered by MIPS®, which integrates our innovative MIPS system between independent EPP and EPS layers to optimize impact management at both high and low speeds. The Coalition Spherical also competes with the ventilation and cooling of some road helmets, featuring large front intake vents connected to efficient rear exhaust vents through deep internal channels. As with many of our developments, one of the most impressive innovations of the Coalition is hidden inside: The Halo System combines a chin bar made of Pebax® (a material designed to provide the perfect balance of flexibility and stiffness) with elastomer bushings integrated into the EPS to absorb and dissipate kinetic forces. The result is a helmet that exceeds the standard test for chin bar deformation by nearly double. With Ionic+™ padding for odor control and two sets of removable cheek pads for fit adjustment, the Coalition Spherical sets a new standard for lightweight full-face protection.
