The Akron Mid GTX by Garmont is a versatile hiking shoe with a mid-height shaft that provides reliable support and comfort during demanding day hikes, light mountain treks, and via ferrata routes. The upper material is made of durable suede leather, complemented by protective RPU reinforcements. Inside, the PFC-free GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort membrane ensures breathable waterproof protection—ideal for dynamic tours in changeable weather. The Ortholite® Ultra™ insole offers long-lasting cushioning comfort, while a semi-rigid polypropylene insert in the sole construction provides the necessary stability. The EVA midsole adds extra shock absorption.
