This mount allows for easy installation of your compatible 4-, 8-, or 12-pin transducer on the transom of your boat. This ensures excellent sonar signals at all speeds. Since the transducer is constantly in the water, the mount does not protect it from underwater obstacles, and the boat may experience some drag. The included splash guard prevents the compatible transducer from being exposed to excessive spray at high boat speeds.

You can also mount the transducer with this bracket on the boat's step to adjust the angle of the transducer so that it is parallel to the water's surface. This setup does not create drag on the boat. Since the transducer is not in the water with this mounting method, the sonar does not track the bottom while the boat is gliding.
