Garmin GMR 18 xHD3

The reliable radomes of the GMR xHD3 series provide high-resolution images with a range of 20 meters to 48 nautical miles, thanks to the latest magnetron platform technology. Available in 18” (45 cm) and 24” (60 cm) versions and with a transmission power of 4 kW, the GMR xHD3 radomes feature the new scan averaging technology, which filters out noise from the sea through averaging during sampling, resulting in even more accurate target detection. Additional highlights include True Echo Trails for tracking the signal path of boats or objects, automatic bird detection, and enhanced target size processing. The GMR HD3 also utilizes magnetron platform technology with a range of 20 meters to 36 nautical miles. The entry-level radome assists sailors with its 4 kW transmission power and high-resolution images, improving situational awareness in poor weather conditions.
