"My first Garmin device was an Edge 705, since then an Edge has been on my handlebars on almost every tour. I was immediately impressed by the very clear and sharp LCD display on the Edge 1050, and the touchscreen responds almost as directly as a smartphone. But what is almost more important: Garmin always delivers very practical, innovative functions that I wouldn't want to be without after a short time...
Unlike most bike computers, Garmin's high-end model does not have a transflective TFT display, but an LCD, as we know it from smartphones. The display therefore appears sharper and the colours look richer. The surface is reflective, just like a mobile phone, but this hardly bothered us due to the strong backlighting...
