Each of the four directions has a name: North, West, East, and South. On a map, the top always represents the North and the bottom represents the South. East is on the right side and West is on the left side of the map. Just look at the compass rose, which displays all four directions as on a map. A compass has an arrow that always points to the North. Includes a carrying strap, packaged on a blister card with Euro lock.
