The Red Zone 5 is specifically designed for Cross Country and Marathon. The aim of the Fulcrum engineers was to create two products that are ideal for training and recreational fun, while being durable and reliable.The new hubs of the two wheels have the same casing as the hubs used in the Red Zone Carbon and Red Zone 3. The differences are in the axle and bearings: In the Red Zone 5 we use sealed, durable and efficient bearings that can be fine-tuned with a special adjustment ring.Red Zone 5 feature 2-WAY FIT READY rims with a height of only 18.6 mm and a newly designed asymmetric section to ensure even spoke tension. For both wheelsets, the rims have been widened compared to previous versions so that they can be run with lower tyre pressure for more grip and more control in extreme conditions.The wheelsets present a new look: a tone-on-tone design with part shiny, part matt finish in the valve area, while the opposite side of the rim features the traditional red box with the logo.
