The Twin-Tube design from 2016-2024 was an engineering masterpiece, but it came with some durability challenges. The FLOAT X2 shock, completely reinterpreted from 2025 onwards, has been fundamentally redesigned and is based on a revolutionary monotube architecture.

The Performance Elite is the equivalent version without the Kashima coating of the Factory series and is part of the first 4-way adjustable monotube shock. It features high/low-speed compression and rebound, including Variable Valve Control (VVC) rebound for finely adjustable precise damping performance.

Optimized air damping performance with coil-like ride comfort. The oversized air chamber and reservoir allow for precise air volume tuning for perfect adjustment to individual riding styles and trail conditions.

A larger ½-inch shock shaft and reinforced chassis provide increased stability and durability for the toughest downhill and enduro applications. It features a supportive firm mode (no lockout) with its own control circuit and a locking lever adjustment.
