The shock bushings from Fox are made from a special low-friction plastic. This allows the shock to respond more quickly to binding movements. The bushings are held in place by a continuous sleeve and two spacers, and are sealed on each side with an O-ring. This means that the bushings no longer need to be pressed in, but can be easily installed by anyone. This system reduces friction by a full 50% and increases the lifespan by ten times.
