Forward Pro V2-C-JET

The Forward Joyride brake kit guarantees you a stable, efficient, and easy-to-maintain brake system. Delivered here in the C-JET version, the Forward Joyride J-Kit allows you to easily insert your hose into the inner opening of your frame or to adjust the length of your hose with ease. The hose is connected to the eyelet but not to the lever. The hose comes with a pre-assembled insert and a pre-assembled olive in the lever. It is necessary to connect the hose to the lever and to have the right tools for the installation of this kit.

Installation of the J-Kit brake:

• Position your brake lever on the handlebar.
• Mount your brake caliper on the disc brake bracket.
• Remove the black rubber stopper from the end of the hose.
• Remove the nipples at the end of the brake lever.
• Slide the black rubber nut cover onto the hose.
• Do not remove the small cap at the end of the hose.
• Insert the brake hose into the nut of the brake lever.
• Ensure that the hose reaches the bottom of the lever nut and tighten the nut to compress the olive in the lever. You do not need to tighten it too much; the threads of the nut should remain visible and will then be covered by the nut cover that you previously slid onto the hose.
• Now you can operate the brake to complete the installation.
