This fabric, made from organic cotton and recycled polyester, is extremely tough and significantly increases the abrasion resistance of the pants. There are openings at the knees for inserting pads, which are not included.

Useful extras. The leg pockets with snap closures and flaps are practical for storing maps, snacks, and tissues within easy reach. Side ventilation zippers provide pleasant cooling during strenuous ascents. The leg openings can be easily adjusted with button closures and connected to your shoes with boot hooks.
