With the Karl Pro Trousers Men, Fjällräven has succeeded in making a great pair of pants even better. The Karl Trousers, which are inseparably linked to the name of the Swedish company, underwent a trekking-specific redesign in 2015. The "Pro" in the name of the outdoor pants signifies a mid-rise waistband and significantly narrower legs compared to the original Karl. The longer back of the waistband provides much more comfort when wearing trekking backpacks, as it no longer interferes with the hip belt of the backpack. The narrower legs and pre-shaped knees offer greater freedom of movement, which is a relief during any ascent or descent. There have been no changes to the adjustable inseam and the brushed G-1000® Silent material, as both are perfect for trekking pants.
