Fizik Tempo Argo R1

An endurance saddle with a short-nosed design and generous ischial support that promotes stability, along with extremely stiff carbon rails. The Tempo Argo R1 is a versatile endurance road bike saddle featuring a short-nosed design and ample ischial support for enhanced stability. While traditional saddle shapes encourage frequent position shifts for better leverage, the Argo allows the rider to maintain a firmer position for improved stability and weight distribution. The Argo is the most versatile saddle shape, with each version suitable for different riding styles. The Tempo Argo is designed to provide a riding experience that complements the balanced geometry of today's all-purpose racing machines.

The short length of the Tempo Argo enables the rider to sit further forward without applying undue pressure on sensitive areas. It also includes an ergonomic cut-out developed from detailed pressure analysis and input from medical experts. The padding is made of Fizik's proprietary Type 2 foam, which is slightly thicker in the ischial tuberosity area to support a more upright riding posture. This padding is softer and more progressive than that used in Fizik's racing saddles, offering greater comfort on long distances.
