The Stealth outsole of the Access features a climbing zone for added durability, technical properties, and performance. Deep heel tabs penetrate the dirt, providing stability on downhill sections. The lightweight EVA midsole has a high rubber content, enhancing shock absorption and durability. The leather version includes a toe cap for extra protection and perforations on the upper for increased breathability, along with a rubberized exoskeleton lacing system for additional torsional support.

Stealth S1 is Five Ten's classic rubber compound, which has made a name for itself in the cycling world. Its high grip and abrasion resistance make it one of Five Ten's most versatile materials.
