The Sun Catcher solar filters with variable large aperture from Explore Scientific are available in various sizes and fit most telescopes from 60 mm to 10 inch Schmidt-Cassegrain, as well as all Bresser and Explore Scientific telescopes. The solar filter material is a new advanced Solarlite film produced by the world-renowned company Thousand Oaks Optical, which has been researching and developing for many years. Solarlite is a new solar film with the optical properties of glass and the advantages of an impregnated polymer. It is also ideal for solar astrophotographers. Note: All solar devices from Explore Scientific are certified by Thousand Oaks Optical according to ISO12312-2 and approved for direct solar observation. Technical specifications: Special objective filter for safe solar observations, certified according to ISO12312-2, field stop with a diameter of 90 mm, suitable for telescope tube outer diameters from 90 to 160 mm, quick individual adjustment to your telescope diameter, fast setup – easy to use.
