Product details
The BKC-0801 - BSA Thread-In, Ceramic-Hybrid, XD-15, Angular Contact, Bearing Bottom Bracket is a high-quality bottom bracket designed for 68 mm BSA frames and Shimano (24 mm) cranksets. Exclusively available at Enduro Bearings, it features XD-15 15° angular contact ball bearings housed in aluminum cups that screw directly into the bottom bracket shell. The XD-15 Pro bearings utilize XD-15 steel and offer sealed 15° angular bearings with deep raceways for maximum contact area and enhanced performance. Made in California, USA, they combine corrosion-resistant steel races with Grade 3 silicon nitride ceramic balls.
The threaded solution allows for easy installation of 24 mm Shimano cranksets into the BSA threaded bottom bracket shell. The XD-15 has been named the best bottom bracket by Bike Radar and comes with a lifetime warranty against wear and corrosion. The Ceramic-Hybrid bearings actually improve with use, unlike other options that tend to slow down over time. Enduro offers over 50 different bottom bracket options for various bike types and has threaded options for BSA, BSA 30, Italian, and T47 systems. The range also includes press-fit bottom brackets and flanged, double-row bearings for 30 mm cranksets in BB86 shells.
