The EC90 SL crankset utilizes RaceFace Cinch technology, allowing for direct mounting of 1x chainrings and 2x spiders, offering industry-leading versatility. The increasingly popular 1x setups provide many advantages such as weight savings and simplicity. However, their biggest limitation is adaptability. The ability for a cyclocross rider to tackle a course and then effortlessly switch the chainrings to their preferred setting is a crucial need that has been overlooked until now. The chainring features a narrow/wide tooth profile. Easton has refined the design for larger chainring applications, improving chain retention while reducing noise and friction. Finally, Easton is launching a new line of low-friction bottom brackets to complete the EC90 SL crankset package. Bottom brackets sold separately.
