Easton's new AX handlebar series meets the needs of the growing drop bar adventure and gravel segment. Building on the very successful and critically acclaimed line of new MCD road handlebars as well as EA70 and EC70, the AX handlebar utilizes the same top shape and reach along with the ergonomic drop shape, but increases the drop flare from 4 degrees to 16 degrees. The wider stance in the drops provides more control on rough terrain and during long gravel stretches. Why 16 degrees? Based on extensive testing and rider feedback, Easton has determined that 16 degrees strikes the perfect balance between maximum handlebar sweep and efficient access and use of the shift and brake levers both in the drops and on the tops.
