The shoe was specially developed for long runs in alpine terrain, where safety and protection are essential. The trail running shoe impresses with excellent cushioning and a comfortable fit, providing ample comfort for distances of 40 km and more. Thanks to the innovative GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane, the Ultra 50 GTX has an additional waterproof barrier to keep your feet dry even in wet conditions.
With an 8 mm drop, rounded Alpine Rocker outsole shaping, and a high level of cushioning, the Ultra 50 supports a dynamic running feel even on challenging terrain. The flexible construction of the waterproof GORE-TEX Invisible Fit technology and the seamless tongue construction ensure that the shoe does not constrict you, effectively preventing pressure points while stabilizing your foot. The fit is also designed for ultra distance with maximum volume.
The POMOCA outsole of the Ultra 50 GTX running shoe features an open, aggressive tread, specially developed for wet, muddy surfaces, offering optimal grip and responsiveness even in adverse conditions. The Ballistic Bumper reinforcements in the toe area and the TPU film applied in sensitive areas protect your foot from impact in rocky terrain. The classic lacing allows you to adjust the shoe optimally to the shape of your foot. Thanks to the additional fabric layer of the Invisible Lacing System, the laces remain securely stowed away while running, preventing dirt or stones from penetrating. The proven DYNAFIT Heel Preloader provides additional support in the heel area.
