Product details

The Donic Bluestar A1 has quickly become a star among table tennis rubbers. Its fantastic catapult and speed characteristics are thanks to the fine-pored sponge, but the slightly sticky, extremely grippy top rubber also significantly contributes to its outstanding playing properties.

Now, the high-quality Donic rubber has company. The Bluestar A2 and Bluestar A3 are alternatives for all players who find the sponge of the Bluestar A1, with a hardness of 52.5°, too hard or prefer slightly softer sponge hardnesses. The new models are offered with sponge hardnesses of 50° (Bluestar A2) and 47.5° (Bluestar A3). Of course, these versions also utilize the crucial technology that makes the Bluestar's fine-pored sponge so special: Optimized Energy Sponge (OPTE) sets standards in terms of elasticity and damping level. The development, production, and processing of the Bluestar meet the highest demands; it is no wonder that this is the ultimate rubber. Now also available with slightly softer sponge hardnesses, which are optimal for most players below the professional level.

Bluestar A2
Technology: OPTE sponge technology, extremely powerful catapult, dynamic, fine-pored 50° sponge
Character: Very dynamic, excellent speed and spin properties
Recommendation: For attacking or offensive players.
