Product details
The name says it all. The Donic Bluestar comes with the best prerequisites to become the new star among Donic table tennis rubbers, as something truly innovative is here. The secret of the Bluestar lies in its sponge, which is fundamentally different from the sponges of all other Donic rubbers. The developers proudly named the underlying technology "Optimized Energy Sponge," or OPTE for short. This fine-pored sponge sets new standards in terms of elasticity and damping level due to its unique composition, which players can feel immediately while playing: Fantastic catapult and speed properties make the Donic Bluestar A1 an absolute top product. The top rubber also contributes to this. Unlike the successful rubbers from Donic's Bluegrip C-Touch series, the top rubber is only slightly sticky and extremely grippy. Former world champion Jörgen Persson is enthusiastic about this new development. "I've never played with a better table tennis rubber," said the Swedish legend. With a hardness of 52.5 degrees, the sponge of the Donic Bluestar A1 may seem relatively hard at first glance. However, in the hands of players at an appealing level, it quickly becomes a strong asset. The Bluestar A1 is a professional table tennis rubber that even ambitious players not competing at the highest levels will enjoy, but it is especially recommended for players who train intensively.
Technology: OPTE sponge technology, extremely catapult strong, dynamic, and fine-pored 52.5° sponge.
Character: Ultramax speed and spin properties, guarantees precise attacking shots.
Recommendation: For ambitious, uncompromising attacking players.
