FSC® is an independent, non-profit non-governmental organization aimed at promoting environmentally friendly, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of forests worldwide. The basis for the annual inspections is uniform criteria applied globally, regardless of whether the wood comes from tropical or domestic forests.
