The ITTF-approved Spinmax rubber from Schildkröt offers excellent grip and effectively transfers spin to the ball. The 2.1 mm thick sponge between the rubber and wood generates a high level of power; faster ball speeds with the same effort are an advantage over a thinner and therefore cheaper sponge. The ERGO grip, with its rounded, flowing transition from the handle to the blade, feels significantly better in hand than traditional rackets and prevents pressure points on the index finger.
