Novelty! This top insulation jacket with a modern simple design is made of a revolutionary down material, the market novelty Thindown™. This offers higher thermal resistance than synthetic insulation of the same grammage. Thanks to the unique properties of the down material, there is no shifting of the down through the top or bottom fabric. This means that this insulation material can be combined with the extremely breathable outer fabric Pertex Quantum Air, giving you a very warm, breathable and extremely lightweight insulation jacket. It is suitable either as an outer jacket or as a bottom layer under hardshell garments. The hood is equipped with a synthetic insulation material for faster drying after precipitation or perspiration. We have successfully tested the jacket on ascents in the Alps and the Andes, and so we can recommend it with a clear conscience to all mountain enthusiasts and followers of the Fast&Light style.
