This material requires significantly less thickness compared to synthetic filling to achieve equivalent thermal insulation. The advantage is a much smaller jacket volume compared to synthetic materials. The construction of the down insulation prevents the down from shifting. Therefore, this insulation material can be combined with the highly breathable outer material, Pertex Quantum Air, resulting in a very warm, extremely breathable, and ultra-light thermal jacket that can be worn either as an outer jacket or as a base layer under hardshell clothing. The jacket features decorative stitching on the sides, enhancing breathability.
