Replacement brake pads for your disc brake. Semi-metallic pads for disc brakes. Compatible with: BB3 Avid, BB5 Avid, Promax DSK 710, Promax DSK 300, Promax DSK 330, and Decathlon bicycles Triban RC120 and RC500. 1 pair of brake pads, 1 spring damper, spring clip not included. During the break-in process, you gradually warm up the brake pads and discs to ensure a uniform contact surface.

Before breaking in, you should follow these guidelines:

• Clean the brake discs. When changing the brake pads, it is also advisable to replace the discs.
• Use the right equipment. Wear a bicycle helmet and have a bike computer or GPS device on your bike.
• Choose safe terrain. Ride on flat, dry ground without obstacles.

It is important to alternate between the front and rear brakes during the break-in process and to follow these steps:
Step 1: Ride at 15 km/h and gradually brake to 5 km/h 10 times.
Step 2: Ride at 20 km/h and gradually brake to 5 km/h 10 times.
Step 3: Ride at 25 km/h and gradually brake to 5 km/h 10 times.

After each step, release the brakes and ride for several dozen meters to allow the disc and caliper to ventilate. Use only one brake at a time to avoid overheating the pads. Ride on a smooth surface to prevent jolting. Avoid abrupt braking during the break-in process. Be patient. The break-in can take up to 30 minutes.

Rainbow-colored streaks on the discs or a decrease in braking power indicate that your brake pads are glazed. Please contact your Decathlon service point if this occurs.
