World premiere in hiking shoes: With the Super Leggera GTX, Dachstein presents a new hiking shoe made from knitted, high-performance upper material at the OutDoor fair. The flexible upper material adapts precisely to the foot when laced up. It offers stable heel support while being a comfortable shoe at the same time. In line with the "natural walking" principle, the Vibram Motionflex sole has also been developed with its own flexible zones. Robust and grippy for hiking in rough terrain, the sole remains flexible to support the natural rolling motion of the foot. Beneath the water-repellent and abrasion-resistant AeroKnit upper material, Dachstein incorporates its own GORE-TEX membrane, making the sporty shoe waterproof while remaining breathable for daily hiking use. Since the areas just above the sole are particularly stressed when bumping against rocks or getting caught, this zone around the shoe is protected by injected TPU plastic. Quality assurance is an important part of Dachstein's product development, which is why the Super Leggera GTX is manufactured in Europe.
