Inspired by the Styrian mountains, Dachstein developed a lightweight and flexible mountain boot for high alpine regions. The model "Grimming GTX" is conditionally crampon resistant and ideal for lighter high altitude tours, thanks to the EVA midsole and the PU anti-shock insert. The high-quality upper material made of Perwanger suede and Cordura mesh with water-repellent hydro treatment provides breathability and prevents moisture penetration. Additionally, this alpine mountain boot is equipped with a waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex membrane.
An important feature to meet the high demands in challenging terrain is the Vibram Mulaz rubber sole with medium tread depth, ensuring perfect grip on any surface. Quality and high standards in production are paramount for Dachstein.
Perwanger Leather produces the ideal mountain sports leather for extreme requirements. The conscientious selection of the right raw material is crucial for the high-quality end product, using cattle hides from the Alpine region, which guarantees consistently high quality.
Cordura fabrics are known for their durability and resistance to abrasion, tears, and wear.
The Vibram Mulaz features a large climbing zone in the toe area, lightweight Vibram Multitraction lugs for 360° grip, and a Mont rubber compound for increased traction and precise climbing.
