Electric scooters with moon-shaped cutouts require an adapter to install the WingLights indicators into the handlebars. This type of handlebars can be found on electric scooters such as the Ninebot Segway G30 Max as well as the Ninebot E45e and E22e.

If your electric scooter has a round handlebar with a diameter between 14.7 mm and 23 mm, the WingLights will fit into the handlebars without an adapter. You can check what type of handlebar you have by carefully removing the grip, either by fully taking off the handlebar grip or by cutting off the end.

We recommend using the WingLights 360 Fixed or 360 Mag so that you have the option of having permanent position lights facing forward (white) and backward (red). Since the taillights of electric scooters are mounted on the standing platform, visibility for approaching traffic from behind is significantly limited. The lighting on the handlebars can improve visibility, as the lights are at the eye level of other road users.

Easy to install:

• Remove the handlebar grip and insert the adapter into the moon-shaped metal handlebar.
• Create a hole at the end of the handlebar grip.
• Reattach the handlebar grip to the handlebar.
• Insert the WingLights indicator into the end of the handlebar and screw it tight until it is secure.
