The lightweight, technical polyamide fabric is temperature-regulating and comfortable, featuring targeted ventilation inserts that quickly wick moisture away, keeping your feet fresh and dry. Protection is key. Vertical ribs and strategically placed 3D dots on the upper material provide comfort and cushioning. The sensitive Achilles tendon and instep areas also benefit from additional padding with a terry loop fabric on the inside of the sock, preventing friction and discomfort. Underfoot, a pattern of 3D dots (75%) and flat dots (25%) offers increased impact protection, additional grip and ventilation, as well as light micro-stimulation that promotes venous return and delays fatigue while you enjoy the endless mountain panorama. Our signature arch support enhances this effect through micro-compression, promoting circulation. It also prevents the fabric from twisting and folding, protecting you from painful chafing and irritation. The ergonomic toe box is designed for comfort and proprioception, allowing the toes to intuitively grip on uneven terrain. Lastly, a special abrasion-resistant Cordura yarn is used in the toe and heel areas for added comfort and optimal blister protection. These socks are higher and more protective than our Fast Hiking model, making them perfect for short to moderately long hikes in hiking shoes.
