This map of the southern area surrounding Warsaw at a scale of 1:50,000 covers a vast region extending from the center of Warsaw in the north to Grójec in the south. To the west, the map is marked by Ożarów Mazowiecki and Pruszków, and to the east by Garwolin. It depicts the area around cities such as Pruszków, Piaseczno, Józefów, Konstancin-Jeziorna, Otwock, Karczew, Mińsk Mazowiecki, and Góra Kalwaria. The map represents the Chojnów Landscape Park and the Masovian Landscape Park in their entirety. These are recreational areas for the residents of the capital, as well as for visitors. The areas of the landscape parks are predominantly tourist-attractive forest regions.

The pine forest landscape is beautifully varied with magnificent dunes, marshes, monumental trees, and the picturesque valleys of the Jeziorka and Świder rivers, which are popular among kayakers. There are also many interesting architectural landmarks, particularly in Otwock and Konstancin-Jeziorna with their villas. Numerous national monuments are present, including memorials, graves, crosses, and cemeteries. These primarily date back to World War II, but also to the January Uprising.
