Cold Steel Walkabout

Throughout history, every culture has had its own interpretation of the typical walking stick. From city dwellers to hard-working farmers, every man had a cane. These fantastic tools were once incredibly commonplace, but unfortunately, carrying a cane has fallen out of fashion. The walking stick is so much more than just an aid to stabilise the injured, sick or infirm. As any walker or outdoor activist will tell you, it is also an excellent tool for traversing rough, slippery, uneven and treacherous terrain, a useful signpost or probe, and in an emergency it is also a good means of self-defence. The Walkabout was a favourite classic from the earlier product range. This version of this popular design is made from incredibly durable and high impact polypropylene. Unlike wood, it is extremely weather resistant and can withstand adverse conditions that would cause a conventional stick to crack, warp or rot. The beautiful wood grain of the Walkabout provides excellent grip without sacrificing comfort or ease of use. The simple, one-piece construction makes it incredibly durable, yet light enough to carry and use all day.
